All three of the abstracts I sent in for the ODTUG Kaleidoscope 2010
conference have been accepted (so I will be attending). The titles are: “How
to write efficient SQL”, “Why isn’t
Oracle using my index?”, and “Co-operating with the
database”. I’ve also been invited to sit on the “Database
Experts” panel
on Tuesday 29th.

|
Michigan, USA: The
local chapter of the Oak Table is organizing a two-day event featuring Oak
Table speakers from around the world. The event will be held a few days
before Oracle Open World for the benefit of all those people who can’t
get to Open World or would prefer a technical event to the marketing jamboree
in San Francisco.

be handled by John Goodue of SpeakTech.
