Billund, Denmark. I will be presenting at the Miracle OpenWorld 2010. I will be presenting two sessions: “The Beginners’ Guide to becoming an Oracle Expert”, and “How to write Efficient SQL”.

Boston, Mass. Working with Trutek and John Goodhue, I will be in Boston presenting the one-day tutorials Writing Optimal SQL and Trouble-shooting and Tuning.

Cleveland, Ohio: Working with John Goodhue and in conjunction with the NEO Oracle User Group, I will be in Cleveland presenting Execution Plans.

27th June - 1st July

Washington DC, USA: All three of the abstracts I sent in for the ODTUG Kaleidoscope 2010 conference have been accepted (so I will be attending). The titles are: “How to write efficient SQL”, “Why isn’t Oracle using my index?”, and “Co-operating with the database”. I’ve also been invited to sit on the “Database Experts panel on Tuesday 29th.

16th – 17th September

Michigan, USA: The local chapter of the Oak Table is organizing a two-day event featuring Oak Table speakers from around the world. The event will be held a few days before Oracle Open World for the benefit of all those people who can’t get to Open World or would prefer a technical event to the marketing jamboree in San Francisco. Preliminary details are available on Charles Hooper’s blog. Registration will be handled by John Goodue of SpeakTech.

San Francisco, USA (provisional): Since I’m going to be in the USA for the Michigan Oak Table event, I will probably volunteer a couple of abstracts for Open World.
